OUR STORES

Everyday commitment to sustainability

Constant research to offer high quality services.

We strive to improve every single day.

In these terms, our collaborators are encouraged to report and propose any initiative that may prove useful to reducing consumption, limiting waste, reducing the environmental impact of our activities and help assure the well-being of the communities in which we work.

In 2021, we started certifying some of our stores with the BREEAM system, obtaining a score of “very good”. This certification assesses the store completely, considering the environmental impact and employee well-being. These certifications are useful to us, to compare our standards with international best practices to be used in store design and management.

We also seek to further reduce consumption: the programme for changing lighting systems, communication via video walls with the consequent elimination of a great deal of paper materials, and raising awareness to appropriate use of the heat barriers all head in this direction.

Shopping bags and visual materials also have room for improvement on current practices, as long as satisfactory technical solutions can be found.
