Oniwines is a new project that brings together several wine realities with the aim of enhancing the Italian territory, through native wine varieties that can express local history, culture and traditions to create an experience.
A region with a natural vocation for wine production and a profound desire to elevate and promote the land: thus, Tenimenti Leone was born. The desire to get back to basics and to rediscover a more authentic world has pushed us to take on a big challenge: the promotion of a still-undiscovered area, expressing its incredible potential. A ‘forgotten’ land which has become the cradle of a large project which is designed to bring a beautiful monument back to life: an old tower surrounded by 72 hectares of nature. A symbol which tells an ancient story and which reflects the Roman ifluence on the splendid Alban Hills.
La Giuva is focused on working with grapes which are native to Valpolicella, more specifically Trezzolano in the upper Val Squaranto valley. A unique slice of land, the terrain of the upper Val Squaranto differentiates it from the rest of the valley, with a soil that is decisively chalkier and a landscape characterized by slopes and constant winds which foster the development of aromatic precursors as the grapes ripen, giving rise to highly expressive wines.
A cellar with a vineyard in the heart of Sardinia, in Guardia Grande, developed in depth, literally into the land. Wines caressed by the Mistral wind, between Capo Caccia and Porto Conte. An area which is still unspoiled, wild, and coloured by brick-red clay earth and permeated with the intense aroma of the herbs that cover the ground. It’s easy to close your eyes here and imagine the grapes ripening as the warm glow of the sunset spreads slowly across the Estate.
Villa Bucci is a milestone in the history of Verdicchio: the company has made an important contribution to its evolution, transforming a native grape in a little-known area into an iconic white wine in Italy and beyond. Very versatile when vinified, Villa Bucci grapes grow on inland hills in the province of Ancona and fully embody the regional viniculture of the Marches region. Being characteristically rich, austere and enduring, they have great potential for ageing.
