LEGAL JOB SEARCH CONTACTS PROCUREMENT

OUR MANUFACTURING FACILITIES

Suggestions for improvement

We're aware of the opportunities for improvement, and we're committed to making them a reality.

There are a few particular areas that, despite complying with legal obligations, present slight hurdles to our standards. More specifically, we’re working on:

1.  In-house production of accessories and cups for bras in Sri Lanka

Still not up to the standard we'd like. Studies to identify optimal solutions are ongoing.

2.  Safety procedures

The improvement of maintenance and updating of safety procedures in a few facilities. In 2018, a monitoring/study program was launched to find potential improvements, including the hiring of a high-level professional to focus solely on this topic.

3.  Verification of the practices adopted by our suppliers and sub-contractors located in the Far East

    • In 2018, we launched an awareness campaign on the subject of sustainability. Calzedonia S.p.A. gives its raw material and finished product suppliers a document containing our specifications and requires they explicitly confirm the contents of our Code of Ethics.
    • As of today, no audits have been required by third parties for our suppliers in the Far East. We believe that we must act starting from a phase in which we raise awareness and convey the values that Oniverse considers essential.
    • Should any issues arise, an improvement program shared with the supplier is envisaged, with pre-set times subject to verification.
    • In extreme cases, we would cease contracting with the supplier as soon as possible.

Audits will follow on the implementation of the programme by Oniverse. We will also entrust third parties with a series of sample audits.
